July 2022 – Tipperary Boutique Distillery

The Waterford Whiskey Society are delighted to announce that their seventh tasting for 2022 will take place, in person at Revolution Bar in Waterford, as well as online over ZOOM on Tuesday the 26th July at 7:30pm.

This month we are delighted to welcome Tipperary Boutique Distillery and their founder Jennifer Nickerson, who will take us through the background to their farm distillery, and their grain to glass story, while tasting a range of their Gin, Poitin and whiskies.

The tasting line up will be as follows:

• Fairy Tree Gin @40%, made with malted barley and wild hawthorn leaves, both from our own farm.
• Big Field Poitin @47%, made using 50/50 malted and unmalted Olympus Spring Barley from the farm.
• Watershed Single Malt @ 47% Ex-Bourbon finish.
• Homegrown Barley B1 @ 50%, fully matured in first fill Ex-Rioja Casks, made from their own barley.
• Homegrown Barley B2 @ 50%, fully matured in first fill Ex-Rioja Casks, made from their own barley.
• Homegrown Barley Single Cask @ 51.5%, %YO first fill Rioja</li>
